The Center sponsors regular potluck dinners and an annual progressive dinner that ALWAYS produce really wonderful food and a great opportunity to get to know some new folks!
The mission of the Helping Hands Network is to offer comfort and support to those in need in the form of nurturing, acknowledgments, food, etc.
Members and friends of the Center of Peace join together in offering many kinds of "help" to our greater community. We have been involved with Paint the Town, Rake-Up Boise, the Idaho AIDS Foundation, Voices of Faith for Human Rights, food banks, serving lunch at Community House each month, etc.
We do GREAT retreats! In the Fall (usually early October) our retreat begins with dinner on Friday and ends with lunch on Sunday. The location in the mountains is beautiful! There are meditations, GREAT WORKSHOPS AND PLAYSHOPS, free time to just "be," wonderful company, and delicious food! Don't miss this!
In addition to our adult retreat, we also offer several classes and workshops throughout the year.
Our Youth Education staff provides lessons based on Science of Mind and the greatness within each one of us. Find out more.
