Prayer Request
Ministry of Prayer
Our form of prayer, at the Center of Peace, is affirming and accepting. As an expression of the Divine and a participant in this One Universal Mind, we know that thoughts hold power and affect the outcome of our lives. We believe that thought is simply the physical expression of Spirit. Our thoughts create the life that we are seeing. If we do not like the life that we see, we must change the form of our thought to create a different, more fulfilling and prosperous life.
We use a five-step guide in our prayer work. It's not that the steps hold any “magic” or "spell". The steps help us remember that we are the expression of the Divine. As the expression of the Divine we have access to all the good that we could possible want.
We focus on what we desire to create in our lives rather than on what we do not want.
We express gratitude for the knowledge that we are, and have within us, all that we need, want, and more.
Lastly, we release our words to the Divine knowing that our thoughts and word have great Power.
Recognition
I recognize that there is only One Power of Creation.
Unification
I remember, that as a part of creation, I am infinitely connected with that which creates - I am one with the Divine.
Realization
I accept that, in my oneness with all that is, all that I desire is available to me by MY BELIEF in my unity with Creation. A great spiritual teacher once said, "It is done unto you as you believe" and “Your faith has made you whole”.
Thanksgiving
We express how grateful we are for the knowledge that there is only One Mind and that Mind is the Creator of me and my very life. I am grateful for the knowledge that all is well in God’s Universe and I am perfect, whole, and complete right here and right now.
Release
Let go of my affirmative prayer into the action of Creation. I have prepared the soil, planted the seed, watered it, and now, knowing that Creation is infinitely active, I don't need to dig up the seed to see how it's growing! I go about my business of doing what is in front of me to do! I release and let go and let it be so!
