Prayer
Our form of prayer is one of affirmation and acceptance of our intrinsic good. As a participant in the One Universal Mind, I know that my thoughts hold power and affect the character of my life (which is simply physical expression of Spirit). We use a five-step guide in our prayer work; it's not that the steps hold any magic or "spell," they just remind us to be complete in our process. In this explanation I choose to use the word Creation, instead of the word God, because too often the word God carries a mental image of a limited being; God is much more - like all that is, seen and unseen!

The first step is Recognition, where I recognize that there is only one power of Creation.

The second step is Unification, when I remember that as a part of creation I am infinitely connected with that which creates - I am one with Creation.

In the third step, Realization, I accept that in my oneness with all that is, that which I desire is available to me by MY BELIEF in my unity with Creation. (Who said "It is done unto you as you believe"?)

The fourth step is the expression of my Thanksgiving, for both my remembering my unity with Creation and for that which I desire being present in my life NOW. There is only one Mind; if it exists in Universal Mind, then it exists in my mind, and I am grateful that this thought is moving into form!

The last step involves the Release of my affirmative prayer into the action of Creation. I have prepared the soil, planted the seed, watered it, and now, knowing that Creation is infinitely active, I don't need to dig up the seed to see how it's growing! I go about my business of doing what is in front of me to do!

Ministry of Prayer
The Center of Peace offers the service of our Ministry of Prayer. We welcome your prayer requests. Click here to email us your request. It is always held in highest confidence - actually in both definitions of confidence! We prefer that you give us your name and address (and phone if you wish) so we can communicate with you, but they are not required. When you give us your request, remember to release it, knowing that you and Creation (Universal Mind) are one. Creation can only know with you what YOU know for yourself - it is done unto you as you believe. The most important part of what the Center of Peace Ministry of Prayer does for you is to know with you, in the One Mind, that your thought and belief are clear and in alignment with the truth that the will of God can only be Good! Know that you are Love and Loved!
